and started receiving our wheels with no overspray. We also began wiping down the mounting surfaces with a cleaning agent prior to balancing. This helped, but still not 100% reproducable. More like 75%. We also did studies on how much the tire can move on the wheel during panic stops. This can throw your balance out the window faster than anything. We used different mounting lubes to test how each could handle the braking. The lube that we use in-house tends to remain slippery even after the initial 150 mile break-in period and was allowing the tire to slip on the wheel as much as 180 degrees!
